3 sweet peppers (mix green & red)
1 large onion
4 chili peppers (cut in half)
1 tbsp. salt
4-1/2 cups sugar
1-1/3 cups white vinegar
1/2 cup lemon juice
6 whole cloves
1 pouch pectin (certo)

Directions:
Directions:
Grind vegetables, sprinkle with 1-1/2 tsp. salt. Let drain for 3 hours at room temp. (I didn't let stand very long worked ok) Put in large pot with 1-1/2 tsp. salt, vinegar, sugar, lemon juice, and cloves. Bring to boil, stir constantly. Boil for 10 minutes, add pectin, boil for 1 more minute. Remove from heat, skim foam, put in jars, leaving 1/2" head space. Boil 15 minutes in water bath to seal. Store in cool, dark place.
