Ingredients:  
Cream together 1/2 cup of butter (1 stick)
with ½ cup white sugar
add 1 Tablespoon of light Karo syrup

Mix together and then add 1 cup sifted flour and ½ teaspoon of baking soda

The dough will be crumbly.

Directions:
Directions:
Grab dough with your hands and divide into two balls and make two long oblong discs on the cookie sheet and press down until dough is about as thick as a regular cookie. Sprinkle with white sugar and Bake at 300 degrees for 20 minutes. When you take out of oven slice in long sticks and let cook on the cookie sheet.
