1 9 inch unbaked pastry shell
3 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 cup dark corn syrup
2 tablespoons butter or margarine,melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup pecans ,whole or broken

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.Prepare pastry shell.Mix together eggs,sugar,corn syrup,butter,vanilla and salt until well blended.use electric mixer at medium speed,mixing fork,or whisk.Stir in pecans and pour mixture into pastry shell .Bake 15 minutes,then turn oven down to 325 degrees and bake for 25 to 30 minutes.filling will still shake a little but will firm when cool.Cool completely .serve
