Ingredients:
One beef bone with meat on it. (Think it's called beef shank, or several marrow bones if no meaty ones are available)

Chopped onions

Large can of tomato puree
One can of water
(Same size)

Can of tomatoes
One can of water (same size)

Two cans of Veg All mixed veggies with liquid

1/2 cup or more barley...( I like a lot of barley...but it does expand a lot)

1 Bay leaf

Salt, pepper, and shake oregano to lightly cover the water.

Directions:
Combine everything and simmer forever, best the next day.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This was my great-grandfathers recipe from a tavern the family owned I think.

You can go old school and instead of the Veg All mixed veggies cut your own carrots, celery, green beans, potato, and add peas and lima beans, but the Veg All makes it super easy!
