1 C. Butter
2 C. Brown sugar
2 Well beaten eggs
3 1/2 C. Flour
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Baking powder
1 tsp. Baking soda
2 tsp. Cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 C. Sour milk
1 C. Raisins
1 C. Chopped dates
1 C. Chopped walnuts

Preheat oven to 375º

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat well. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with sour milk. Add fruit and nuts. Drop walnut sized mounds of dough onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake for 15 minutes.
