Ingredients:  
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
3 eggs, beaten
3/4 cup chocolate chips
2/3 cups chopped black walnuts
2 1/4 cups flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup water
1/2 cup prunes (cooked and mashed)
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and other ingredients; mix well.

Bake in 350 degree oven for 60 to 70 minutes.

No icing is necessary.
