1 cup shortening
2 cups sugar
3 egg yolks, beaten
1 cup blackberry jam
3 cups sifted flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup buttermilk
3 stiffly beaten egg whites

1/2 cup butter
3 cups confectioners sugar
6 tablespoons evaporated milk
1 tablespoon instant coffee
3 tablespoons cocoa
1 teaspoon vanilla

Cream shortening and sugar; add egg yolks and jam. Beat well. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with milk, beating vigorously after each addition. Fold in egg whites.

Bake in tube pan for 60 minutes at 350 degrees.

Frost with Mocha Icing. Cream together all ingredients until fluffy.
