2 sticks butter, room temp.
2 eggs, room temp.
2 cups pitted dates, chopped coarsely
2 cups walnuts, chopped
2 cups mixed candied fruit
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. baking soda
2 cups sugar
3 cups applesauce
1/2 tsp salt
4 cups flour
2 tsp. vanilla
2 cups raisins
1/2 tsp. cloves

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and butter. Beat eggs, one at a time. Beat in vanilla. Mix in remaining ingredients. Divide batter between 2 greased and floured tube pans.. Bake at 350 F. for 1 hr. and 15 min.
