1/2 lb. butter
3 cups sugar
6 eggs
3 cups plain flour
1/2 pt. Whipping Cream
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar well, add eggs, slightly beaten.
Sift flour with baking powder, add flour and vanilla. Fold in the whipped cream last.
Bake in greased and floured stem pan. Place in COLD OVEN, set at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, then to 325 degrees for 1 hour
