1 1/2 cups flour,
1/2 cup sugar,
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg,
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon,
1/8 teaspoon salt,
1/3 cup butter,
3/4 cup molasses,
3/4 cup water,
1/2 teaspoon soda,
1 pastry shell.

Sift dry ingredients. Cut in butter to meal size. combine molasses, water and soda. Blend and pour in shell. Bake at 375 for 30 minutes.
