1 c. flour 1 c. water ½ c. salt 2 tsp. cream of tartar 1 T. oil Food coloring
Place all the above in a small pan and cook on low heat, stirring constantly until thick. Remove from heat and cool for a few minutes. While still warm, put on waxed paper and knead until dough feels soft and not grainy. Store in airtight container. This will keep for a long time.
