1 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
2 tsp. cream of tartar
tsp. salt
2 T. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Mix shortening, eggs, and 1 cups of sugar together thoroughly. Sift flour, baking soda, cream of tartar, and salt. Combine the 2 mixtures together and chill. Roll into cookie sized balls. Roll each balls into 2 tablespoons sugar 2 teaspoons cinnamon combination. Place each ball on a cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 minutes.
