1 Can Cherry Pie Filling
1-1/2 Sticks Butter
1 Box Yellow Cake Mix
1 Lemon
3/4 Cup Pecans (Chopped)

Directions:
Directions:
Empty pie filling in a 9-inch baking dish. Sprinkle the juice of one lemon on top of cherries. Melt butter and combine with cake mix and pecans. Sprinkle the crumbly mixture over the cherries. Melt one-half stick of butter and drizzle over the top. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-30 minutes or until golden brown.

This recipe was given to me by my good friend Peggy Jackson, Huntsville, AL in 1995. It is a very good dessert and easy to make. Peaches can be substituted for cherries.
