Sift together:
1 cup flour, sifted
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt

Combine:
12 oz. blueberries
1/3 cup sugar
2 tsp. lemon juice
3/4 cup water

Cream together:
1/4 cup margarine
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, salt and baking powder.
Combine blueberries, sugar, lemon juice and water. Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.

Cream butter, until soft. Add sugar gradually until light and fluffy. Add dry ingredients alternately with combined egg, milk and vanilla. Batter will be thin.
Pour hot blueberry mixture into 1 1/2 quart greased casserole. Spoon on batter. Bake at 375 F. 30 min. Serve warm with ice cream or cool whip.
