For Batter Only: Seasoned Flour:
3 cups cornstarch 2 cups of flour
1 1/2 cup flour 4 tsp smoked paprika
2 tsp garlic salt 2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp Smoked Paprika 1/2 tsp gr black pepper
1 tsp salt 1/4 tsp cayenne papper
1 tsp pepper
24 oz of beer

6 onions at about 4 inches in diameter
Crisco Oil for deep frying

Directions:
Directions:
Start heating up oil to 375 to 400 degrees.
Cut about 3/4 inch from top of each onion, then make 12 to 16 verticle cuts, but don't cut all the way to the root end.
Mix ingredients for seasoned flour together and set aside. In another bowl mix batter until smooth. Dip each onion in batter and roll in flour mixture. Now deep fry until well browned. Remove and drain excess oil on paper towels.
