3 thinly sliced raw potatoes
2 thinly sliced raw onions
4 thinly sliced raw carrots
1/4 cup 60 mL raw rice
14 oz 420 mL green beans or peas
1 lb 500 g Pork sausages
10 oz 300 mL canned Tomato Soup
1 can Water
Salt & Pepper & pinch of favorite herb

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 325* F. Grease a large casserole
2. Layer in the following order: Potatoes, Onions, Carrots, Rice, Canned vegetables and liquid, Sausages (in spoke-like pattern).
3. Combine soup and water and seasoning. Pour over ingredients in casserole.
4. Cover and bake 60 minutes.
5. Turn sausages over and bake another 60 minutes.
6. Serve hot.

Mom used to make this for me when I worked on the Sod Farm between classes at Red Deer College and working at Penhold Air Cadet Camp. If you're SUPER hungry, it tastes great. If you're not super hungry, don't bother.
