1 lb. dates, cut up
1 stick of margarine
1 cup of sugar
1 egg
3 cups of Rice Krispies
Angel Flake Coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg and sugar, add dates and butter. Cook until mushy - cool.

When cool, add 3 cups of Rice Krispies. Stir until Rice Krispies are coated with date mix.

Roll 1 1/2 tsp. of date mix in angel flake coconut.

Put coconut in a soup plate, crop mixture on coconut and roll into balls.

These were very popular with my daughters when they were growing up.....they still are! You can freeze them and they still taste as good as when you made them!
