1 1/2 pound hamburger
onion
green pepper
1/2 cup uncooked rice
1 egg
bread crumbs
salt & pepper
Cabbage leaves

Directions:
Directions:
Brown hamburger, chopped onion & pepper. Drain the fat. Add in uncooked rice, a few bread crumbs, egg and salt and pepper to taste.

Scald the cabbage leaves to make them pliable. Place meat mixture on cabbage leaf and roll. Put toothpick in each to hold them together. Place the cabbage rolls into a roaster or covered baking dish. Put a quart of tomatoes over them and bake for 2 hours at 350 degrees.
