1 cup butter
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup confectioners sugar
2 1/4 cups sifted flour
1 cup nuts
Additional confectioners sugar for coating

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Sift flour and salt and add to butter mix. Blend in nuts and vanilla.

Form into balls 1 inch in diameter.

Bake 14 minutes in 400 degree oven. (Watch closely, they tend to burn in the bottom.)

Place confectioners sugar in a large plastic baggie. While cookies are still warm from the oven, place cookies in sugar and shake to coat.

Place cookies on cloth for cooling. When cool, shake again in the confectioners sugar.
