Large bag of frozen hashbrown potatoes, defrosted
1/3 cup choppen onion (green onions preferred)
1 pint sour cream
1/3 cup corn flakes
1 1/2 cup shredded sharp chees, grated
2 tablespoons melted butter
1/4 cup butter
1 can cream of chicken soup

Directions:
Directions:
Heat 1/4 cup butter and saute onions; add soup and stir until blended. Blend sour cream and cheese into mixture and mix with potatoes.

Place mixture in greased 13 x 9 baking dish. Combine corn flakes with melted butter and place on top of potatoe mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

Can fix the potato mixture ahead of time and keep in refrigerator until ready to bake. Don't put the corn flakes on in advance or they will get soggy.
This is a good picnic dish.
