2 cups butter
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
24 oz. chocolate chips
18 oz. Hershey bar, chopped
3 cups chopped nuts (dealers choice)
4 cups flour
5 cups oatmeal
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar and brown sugar; then add vanilla and eggs. Blend dry ingredients, then slowly add to wet mixture. Stir in chips, hershey bar and nuts. Form dough into golf balls and place 2" apart on an un-greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 6 minutes.

I usually make around the holidays, hence the large quantity. Cut recipe in half for a regular batch of cookies.
