6-8 lasagna noodles
1 lb ricotta cheese
1 lb mozzarella cheese (sliced or shredded)
1 large jar your Ragu' spaghetti sauce
2-3 clove garlic, chopped
1 tbsp. parsley
1 tbsp. oregano
1 bay leaf (remove before assembling lasagna)
1 lb ground beef
Parmesan cheese

Directions:

Brown beef and mix with sauce, oregano, parsley, garlic and bay leaf. Let cook while you are cooking your noodles. Cook lasagna noodles in boiling water for about 15 min. (add olive oil to water to prevent sticking of noodles).

Cover bottom of pan with thin layer of sauce. Layer 4-5 cooked noodles, 1/2 of the ricotta cheese and 1/2 of mozzarella cheese and another layer of sauce. Repeat layering and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and bake covered in 13x9x2 pan on 350 for about 45 min (I remove foil about the last 15 min.).

This has been one of my family favorites for many years. I like to serve it with hot Italian bread brushed with butter and garlic.
