6 Egg Yolks
1 tsp Vanilla
1 or 2 Whiskey glasses of Rum or Whiskey
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 Cup Flour Sifted fine (sifted after measured)
Confectioners surgar

Fry in HOT Lard or Crisco




Place 6 egg yolks inn a medium size bowl and beat with fork.
Add: Vanilla, Rum or Whiskey
Sift flour adding salt & baking powder - Add to the egg yolks.

If dough feel sticky add just enough flour so you can lift onto floured board. Work dough lightly until smooth.
Cut dough into half and roll out thin. Cover up the other half so it doesn't dry out.

Cut in strips and slit open and pull through(like a bow)

Melt grease about 2 inches deep in a pan. Heat until hot and fry until golden brown on each side. Drain on paper towels.

When cool sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
