1 12 oz,( 2 cups) Chocolate Morsels semi-sweet divided
2 Tbsp. instant coffee
2 tsp. boiling water
1 1/4 Cup all -purpose flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp.salt
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Preheat oven to 350º , Melt over hot (not boiling) water, 1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate morsels. Stir until smooth; cool to room temperature. In small cup, dissolve instant coffee in boiling water; set aside. In small bowl. combine flour, baking soda and salt; set aside. In large bow, combine butter, sugar, brown sugar and coffee, beat until creamy. Add egg and melted morsels; mix well. Gradually add flour mixture. Stir remaining l 1/2 cups morsels and walnuts. Drop by rounded measuring tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake 350º for 10-12 minutes.
Allow to cook before removing from cookie sheet.
