4 cans black beans
4 slices bacon, roughly chopped
1 T olive oil
1 1/2 c chicken broth
1/2 c water
3/4 c onion, diced
1/2 c green pepper, diced
2 T garlic, minced
1/4 t cumin
2 t tobasco sauce
Adobo seasoning, salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
1) Heat oil in a pot on medium heat. Add bacon and sauté 1 minute.
2) Add peppers, onions and garlic and sauté 2 minutes.
3) Add chicken broth, cumin and tobasco and brung to a boil.
4) Add 3 cans beans with liquid and bring back to a boil. Use a handheld blender and purée the soup until smooth.
5) Add the last can of beans and bring back to a boil. Add adobo seasoning, salt and pepper. Serve with sour cream or steamed rice.
