8 large ripe tomatoes
1 bunch of green onions
2 cans of mild green chilies
3 teaspoons kosher salt
2 teaspoons garlic powder or 2 garlic cloves minced
2 teaspoons sugar
2 tablespoons olive oil

Directions:
Directions:
Dice the tomatoes into small squares and place in colander to drain
Dice green onions
Dice green chilies
Mix tomatoes, onions and chilies in large bowl
Add seasoning and mix well
Place in refrigerator for 30 minutes
Taste, add additional seasoning as desired
Serve with On the Border chips

I borrowed this recipe from a co-worker and changed it up a bit. You can add jalapeņos if you like it hot but Papa "J" like mild salsa so he deleted them from the recipe. You can substitute canned petite diced tomatoes if you need to reduce the prep time.
