1 cup butter or margarine
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 cup oil
1 tsp vanilla
5 cups unsifted flour
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp cream of tartar
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add the next four ingredients and mix. Sift dry ingredients together, add to the wet mixture and mix well. Roll in balls and roll the balls in sugar. Smash down with glass. Cook at 350º for 10 minutes or until edges are slightly brown.
