Shortbread:
1 c. margarine or butter
1/2 c. confectioners sugar
1 1/4 c. plain flour
3/4 c. cornstarch

Glaze:
1 1/2 c. confectioner sugar
3 tbsp. orange juice

Directions:

Shortbread:
1. Cream butter, and 1/2 c. sugar.
2. Add flour and cornstarch. Beat until well mixed. Cover and chill for at least 2 hours.
3. Preheat oven 325º.
4. Roll into balls and place on cookie sheet, ungreased. For appearance, press with fork to make ridges.
5. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.
6. Cool on rack with waxed paper underneath.

Glaze:
1. Mix glaze ingredients. Spoon over cookies.
