1 c. vegetable shortening
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. buttermilk
Directions:
Directions:
Cream together vegetable shortening and brown sugar. Mix rest of ingredients including beaten eggs and add to brown sugar mixture. Drop onto baking sheet. Bake at 400º 8-10 minutes.
