1 1/2 c cooked chicken
4 c chicken broth
1 small onion
1 pound (1/2 kilo) spaghetti noodles cooked in salt water until just al dente
1/2 c butter
2 tsp salt
dash paprika
1 small can sliced mushrooms
1 Tb lemon juice
1/2 c flour
1 c half -and-half or cooking cream
!/4 c Parmesan cheese

Melt 2 Tb butter in large saucepan. Add the onion and sauté with the mushrooms and lemon juice for about 5 minutes. Remove from pan and save. In the same pan, melt remaining butter; stir in flour, salt, and paprika. Combine until smooth using a whisk. Gradually stir in the chicken broth and stir until well combined and continue stirring until it comes to a boil and thickens. Add the cream, diced chicken and mushroom/onion mixture. Heat, but do not boil. Poor over cooked spaghetti noodles which have been drained and placed in a greased 9X13 cake pan or casserole dish. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and bake at 350º F for 30 minutes.
