3 squares unsweetened chocolate, chopped (about 3 ounces)
1/3 cup water
4 cups milk, heated
3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1/8 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Stir chocolate and water in large enough saucepan (with a heavy bottom)-- to later hold the milks volume. Stir over very low heat until chocolate has melted. Mixture will thicken. Gradually whisk in milk, than sugar and salt until blended. Serve in preheated mugs. If serving at Christmas time, garnish each mug with a candy cane stirrer.
