1 lb. sweet butter
1 shot whiskey
2 tsp. baking powder
3/8 c. powdered sugar
4 - 5 c. flour
1 box conf. sugar for topping

Directions:
Directions:
Beat softened butter with electric mixer about 10 minutes. Add whiskey and baking powder and continue beating 5 min. at med to high speed. Blend in conf. sugar. Add flour 1 cup at a time. Roll 1/4 of dough on heavily floured board to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut with crescent cookie cutters or roll in hands. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Sift conf. sugar over tops and bottoms while still warm.
