1 cup of beans (pinto) cooked and drained
1/4 tsp. black pepper
cornmeal
1/4 cup diced onion
1 tsp. sage, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Mash beans, add onion, pepper and sage. Mix in enough corn meal to enable the dough to be shaped into balls. Fry balls in a greased skillet until brown. Note: this can also be made into patties.
