1 1/2 cups sifted plain flour
2- tsp. baking powder
1/2- tsp. salt
2-Tbsp..sugar
6- tbsp. oil
2- eggs
1-cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour with baking powder,salt and sugar into mixing bowl.Seperate egg yolks from whites. Beat egg yolks until light and foamy,and stir in the milk and oil.(you can use melted shortening).Start heating the waffle iron.Add the egg and yolk mixture to the dry ingredients,stir until mixed.Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.Fold egg whites into batter until all egg white disappeares.Pour 1 to 2 Tbsp. of the batter into each section of the waffle iron,when it is hot.Close cover and bake 3 to 5 minutes or until waffle iron stops steaming,and the waffle is golden brown.Do not raise cover during cooking,remove waffle with a fork
