3 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
4 tsp. baking powder
1 c. uncooked wheatena
1 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
2 eggs, beaten

Directions:
Directions:
1. Sift flour, salt and baking powder into a bowl. Add wheatena.

2. Cream shortening and sugar; add milk and beaten eggs; then dry ingredients.

3. Drop teaspoons onto a greased cookie sheet, or chill and roll very thin on a well-floured board. Top with nuts or cherries if you'd like.

4. Bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes.
