1 cup lard
1 cup sour milk
2 eggs
1 tsp. lemon juice, plus a tsp. of the rind
3 to 3 - 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp soda
1 tsp mace
Directions:

Mix well and roll out about 1/2 inch thick. Cut into your favorite shape for any occasion.
Bake at 350º for 10 mins. Or until light brown.
