1 9" unbaked pastry shell 8 canned pear halves, drained (can use fresh) lemon juice 1/4 cup melted butter 1 cup sugar 1/4 cup flour 3 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 1/8 tsp. salt mace
Place pears cut side down in pie shell - large end towards outside of plate, the put one pear half in center. Brush pears with lemon juice. Mix thoroughly remainder of ingredients. Pour over the pears. Sprinkle with mace. Bake at 350 until top is golden brown and custard is set. (45 minutes)
