1/2 cup sugar 1/4 cup butter 1 cup light corn syrup 1/4 tsp salt 3 eggs 1 cup pecans (whole or chopped) 1 recipe plain pastry
Cream sugar and butter, add syrup. Add salt and mix well. Beat in egg one at a time. Add pecans. Pour into 9 inch pastry - lined pie pan. Bake in 350 oven for 1 hour and 10 min.( until knife comes out clean) Put foil around edges to keep from getting too dark.
