Ingredients:  
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
1 tbsp. corn syrup
2 cups butter
1/2 cup slivered almonds
1/2 lb. chocolate chips
Directions:
Directions:
Put first 5 ingredients into a skillet and cook until it reaches hard crack stage or until almonds are lightly toasted. STIR CONSTANTLY.

Pour candy into small buttered cookie sheet.

Sprinkle chocolate chips over candy and spread

Sprinkle very finely chopped nuts over melted chocolate.

Break into pieces when cold.
