"When I'm at a Chinese restaurant having a hard time with chopsticks, I always hope that there's a Chinese kid at an American restaurant somewhere who's struggling mightily with a fork."--Rick Budinich
3 to 4 cups of squash 1 stick of butter 1 1/2 cups of sugar ( to taste) 1 cup flour (you dont have to sift) 1 tsp vanilla 2 eggs
Grease and flour pan you will be cooking in. mix all ingredients together. You want the squash pudding to be thin like a dessert bar. Bake in preheated oven at 400 to 450 degrees for about 25 to 30 minutes or until brown on top.
This was my mom's recipe. Its sweet enough to eat as a dessert.
