2 sticks Oleo (fleshimans)
1/2 cup Crisco
3 cups Swan Down Cake Flour
3 cups sugar
1/2 tsp baking powder ( add to flour and sift)
1 tbls vanilla
1 tbls lemon
1 cup milk ( mix milk, lemon and vanilla)
6 eggs (room temp)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream oleo and crisco, add sugar. Beat until fluffy and creamy. Add one egg at a time beating after each one. Add flour and milk mixture alternating ( start with flour and end with flour). Lightly grease pan with crisco and dust with flour. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
Optional: when creaming flour and sugar add 2 tablespoons of hot water
