1-3/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
6 - 7 T cold water
3 lbs. apples, peeled and sliced
3/4 c. sugar (part-brown optionsal)
1-1/2 tsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. cinnamon
Sprinkle of nutmeg

Toss together apples, sugar, cornstarch cinnamon and nutmeg. Place apples in rolled out crust. Cover with second crust. Brush with a little milk. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 400 degrees for about 40 or 45 minutes.
