2 1/2 C. Flour
1 tsp salt
1 C. lard
milk
1 egg separated
1 Tbsp sugar
2/3 c. crushed corn flakes
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
5 c. peeled sliced apples

Directions:
Directions:
sift together flour, 1 Tbsp sugar and salt; cut in lard with pastry blender. Put egg yolk into measuring cup and add milk to make 2/3 c. add to lard mixture mix enough so dough shapes into a ball.
Roll out half the dough to a 5x11 rectangle transfer to baking sheet cover with corn flakes then apple slices. Mix cinnamon and sugar sprinkle over apples. Roll out other half of dough for the top crust. beat egg white until stiff brush over top crust.
Bake in hot oven 40-50 minutes. While hot drizzle glaze over top. (mix confectioners sugar with 2 Tbsp lemon juice)
