1 cup sugar
3/4 cup light Karo corn syrup
1/2 cup margarine
13/4 cups pecan halves
1 tsp vanilla
3 eggs
1/8 tsp salt
deep dish pie shell, unbaked

Directions:
Directions:
Put sugar, syrup, and margarine in saucepan. Bring to a boil and stir until all ingredients are blended. Blend hot mixture and salt and slightly beaten eggs. (When first stirred together, will look like eggs are scrambling). Stir in pecan halves and vanill extract. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
