1 salmon filet, about 1 pound
1 T. brown sugar
1 T. butter, melted
1 T. olive oil
1 T. honey
1 T. soy sauce
1 T. Dijon mustard
1 clove garlic, finely chopped

Directions:
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients except salmon in small bowl and mix well. Place salmon in shallow glass dish or large heavy duty ziploc bag. Add marinade.
2. Let salmon marinade for at least 15 minutes and up to 1 hour.
3. Heat grill to medium high. Remove salmon from marinade; reserve marinade. Place salmon skin side down on grill, cover and grill 10 to 15 minutes, brushing tow or three times with marinade. Discard remaining marinade. Serves 4.

This is my salmon prep that everyone raves about. The only down side is that it tends to leave a messy grill. I have learned (the hard way) that it is best to clean the grill by burning off the residue. Just make sure the fan is on if you're using an inside grill! Serve with Crunchy Slaw or Corn Salad with Cilantro Jalapeno Dressing.
