2 cups sliced apples (canned or fresh) 1/4 or more cups sugar
Fry: 1 lb. sausage (broken in sm. pieces) drain. Follow directions on package for corn muffin mix. Add cooked sausage to muffing mix. Pour in greased 9" round cake pan. Bake at 400 for 20-25 minutes. Meanwhile simmer 2 cups sliced apples with 1/4 cup sugar til soft. Spread on top of pie and serve hot.
