2 cups brown sugar
3/4 cup shortening
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
1 tsp soda
1 tsp cream of tartar
1 cup dates or raisins
Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening. Add beaten eggs and vanilla. Then add sifted flour, soda , cream of tartar and dates.Mix and drop on cookie sheet. Bake at 350º
