2 1/2 cup sugar
3/4 c water
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 cup butter, cubed
1/4 cup honey
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp rum extract, if desired

Directions:
Directions:
Butter 15 x 10 baking pan. In a heavy saucepan, combine sugar, water and corn syrup. Cover and bring to boil over medium heat without stirring. Cook, uncovered until candy thermometer reads 270 (soft crack stage). Add butter, honey, salt and extract. Stir constantly until mixture reaches 300 (hard crack stage). Remove from heat and pour in prepared pan without scraping. Do not spread. Cool for 1-2 minutes or until it is almost set and score in 1 inch squares. Cool completely and then break squares apart. Store in airtight container.
