3 c. sugar
3/4 c. Karo
3/4 c. water
1/4 tsp. salt
2 egg whites
3-1/2 T any flavored jello
2/3 c. nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggwhites until stiff. Add jello. Cook sugar, Karo, water, and salt in saucepan. Use low heat until sugar is dissolved; then cook without stirring until temperature reaches 260 degrees (a little bit dropped in cold water forms a hard ball). Beating constantly pour Karo mixture into the eggwhites. Add vanilla and continue beating until mixture holds it shape and becomes slightly dull. Fold in the nuts. Drop from tip of buttered spoon onto waxed paper or spread ina buttered pan and cut into 1" squares when firm.
