1 (8 ounce) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 c. creamy peanut butter
1 c. powdered sugar
1 T. butter, softened
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (8 ounce) Cool Whip, thawed
1 ready-made chocolate pie crust
1 c. caramel sauce, room temperature
2/3 c. pecan pieces, preferably toasted
1/2 c. chocolate chips
1/3 c. heavy cream
3 T. sugar

Beat together cream cheese, peanut butter, powdered sugar, butter and vanilla until smooth. Fold in whipped topping. Spoon into prepared crust. Smooth top of filling with back of spoon. Place in freezer 10 minutes. Pour caramel sauce over top of pie, spreading evenly. Sprinkle with pecans. Return to freezer for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, place chocolate chips, cream, and sugar in top of double boiler. Cook over medium-low heat until chocolate is just melted. Quickly pour chocolate mixture over top of chilled pie, spreading evenly. Refrigerate 2 hours before serving.
